There are A LOT of people who are excited for this weekend! Do you know why? Everyone (allegedly) gets an extra hour of sleep on Saturday night. Even though we get that extra hour, I am not excited...

Do you know why? Changing the clock wreaks havoc in my house. Have you ever tried to explain to a five-year old that it is time to go to bed when they "aren't tired" and don't think that they need to go to bed for another hour? Let me tell you that it is not a walk in the park. Especially when she is the youngest of three and has red hair!

What should you do to ease the transition? Try to stay on your typical sleeping schedule. Keep the same bedtime, and attempt to get 8 hours of sleep on Saturday night. But be prepared that your children will probably still wake up at their normal wake up time, because they do not care at all about Daylight Savings Time. It will probably take them a couple of days to figure it out.

So Be Prepared!

I hope that you all stayed dry while Trick Or Treating last night!
